1. What we collect
Account data (name, email, phone), KYC documents (Aadhaar/PAN for pros only), service requirements you post, messages with pros, payment metadata, device and usage telemetry.
2. How we use it
To match you with verified pros, process payments and escrow, prevent fraud, comply with law, and improve the product. We do not sell your data.
3. Sharing
Pros only see your name, area and project brief — never your phone or address — until you accept their quote. Payment partners receive only what's needed to process the transaction.
4. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. KYC records are kept for 8 years per RBI/UIDAI guidelines. You may request deletion via privacy@profinder.in.
5. Your rights (DPDP Act)
Access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination. Contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@profinder.in.
6. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). KYC documents are stored in tokenized form with restricted access.
